The legitimacy of existing political institutions in the modern students' assessments: applied research of the public administration system in the Nizhny Novgorod region

The article analyzes the results of the study of the opinions of students of the Nizhny Novgorod Institute of Management of the RANEPA on the issue of awareness of modern youth about the activities of the representative body of state power at the regional level, namely the activities of the Legislative Assembly of the Nizhny Novgorod Region. The study was conducted in February-March 2023 using a questionnaire on the Yandex-Form platform. The data obtained allow us to draw conclusions both about the awareness of today's youth about the current activities of the representative authorities of the region, and about the level of civic responsibility chosen for the study of the focus group. The results of the study allow us to draw certain conclusions about the level of legitimacy of the current government, as well as about the prospects for improving the efficiency of the legislative bodies of power at the regional level and about the impact of efficiency on the level of civic consciousness and legitimacy of existing political institutions in modern Russia.
