Modern aspects of national defense management of the Russian Federation in the context of interstate confrontation

The scientific article gives a brief description of modern interstate confrontation, considers modern aspects of the management of national defense of Russia, and clarifies the theoretical and practical foundations of its implementation. The author demonstrates that the further scientific development of this problem should be the development of models for managing national defense for each period of interstate confrontation.
