65th anniversary of professor Vladimir Ivanovich Mayorov

Тhis article is devoted to the 65th anniversary of the Russian scientist, Professor, doctor of law Mayorov Vladimir Ivanovich. It reflects the biography of the hero of the day, the main stages of the formation of his research activities. The article refers to the numerous merits of the hero of the day, his awards and titles. Vladimir Ivanovich can be called an outstanding man. He is a full member of the Russian Academy of natural Sciences, a full member of the Eurasian Academy of administrative Sciences, a full member of the international Academy of Sciences, ecology and security, a full member of the Russian Academy of transport. V. I. Mayorov is a worthy example to follow, as 25 years of his life he gave to work in law enforcement. He is an honorary employee of the Ministry of internal Affairs, major General of the militia in retirement. He made 11 trips to the North Caucasus. He was awarded the medal “for saving the dead”, “for impeccable service” three degrees and other awards. The article contains a list of the most important publications, as well as the range of his scientific interests. V. I. Mayorov is the undisputed founder of the scientific school of constitutional and legal science and administrative and legal science at the South Ural state University. He is the founder and head of the only scientific school in the South Ural region on topical issues of administrative regulation. The study of the works of V. I. Mayorova invariably returns to the idea of a wide range of scientific interests, exceptionally high legal culture of the scientist, the versatility of his talent as a researcher. His numerous fundamental works devoted to the problems of improving the administrative and legal provision of road safety are well-known. I would like to dwell on the fact that Professor V. I. Mayorov by no means bypassed, but on the contrary timely noticed and talented justified in administrative and legal scientific sources the urgency of the problem of building a modern state system of crime prevention in Russia.
