70-year forest treatment operation experience in Mid Volga conditions

The history of creation of experimental production facilities of the East European (until 2009 - Tatar) forest experimental station is considered. The technology and silvicultural assessment of measures for forest management by means of reconstruction of low-value young growths (by the example of 17 objects - 47 trial plots) and the formation of plantations from the growth after gradual and continuous felling (11 objects - 27 PPs), conducted in the Republics of Tatarstan, Udmurtia , Chuvashia and Mari El.
