90-th jubilee of paleontologist P. K. Chudinov (1922-2002)

Petr Konstantinovich Chudinov is an outstanding scientist whose main contribution to the Russian paleontology was the discovery, excavation and study of Ocher fossil vertebrate fauna. He described several new genera and families of mammal-like reptiles of this assemblage. Ocher fauna is a peculiar, unknown anywhere evolution stage of the Permian terrestrial vertebrates.
