Absenteeism of the youth as a form of political participation

This article analyzes the different interpretations of the definition of "absenteeism" presented in the Russian and Western political literature. The research especially emphasizes the problem of the existence of the youth political absenteeism that, according to the authors, has a negative impact on the political development of the country. The author determine the importance of taking measures by the state in order to promote the political participation of the youth.
