Adaptations of foreign nationals in Russia: updating the theory and practice of regulation in the over-COVID period

The article considers the adaptation state migration policy in Russia, develops a theoretical basis of adaptation regulation, formulates the author's definitions and classification of activities of social, cultural, economic, legal adaptation of foreign citizens in the Russian Federation with the selection of the main forms of adaptation activity of public authorities and civil society institutions, and its legislative justification. The author identifies the problems arising in the implementation of the Concept of State Migration Policy for the period 2019-2025 in terms of adapting foreign nationals, proposed ways to update and increase the efficiency of inclusion of immigrants in the host society in the Russian state. The article highlights trends in migration policy and outlines the management and political-legal tasks of regulating migration processes under the COVID-19 period.
