Adapting the system of strategic objectives of the business structure to the factors of the external environment

The article discusses the ways of adapting small and medium-sized businesses, including non-profit organizations (operating in the tourism sector) to the situation caused by the coronavirus pandemic. The approaches to reducing the negative impact of the external environment on business ideas of entrepreneurship in the field of tourism business are analyzed. In addition, the article reflects the events that have arisen as a result of the coronavirus infection, which required making management decisions in strategic planning, including in small and medium-sized businesses. Particular attention is paid to a separate type of entrepreneurial activity, namely, services in the field of tourism. Considered, in particular, the actions of the St. Petersburg Fund for the Development of Small and Medium-Sized Businesses within the framework of the program to support business structures during a pandemic: the article discloses two stages of the implementation of this program. It is shown that the first stage consisted in the fact that the Fund, since the spring of 2019, was one of the first to provide adaptation advisory services to SMEs. The second stage of the program included, including for business structures operating in the tourism sector, assistance in stimulating the process of organizing tours in Russia with the subsequent return to clients of 20% of the cost of the tour.
