The article analyzes the experience in examination of the quality of mathematical training and holding an adaptation course of Mathematics for first-year students on the example of the Institute of Space and Informatic Technologies of Siberian Federal University. In addition, the article considers the problems of organizing the adaptation course of Mathematics and suggests some solutions.
