When creating winter wheat varieties in Western Siberia, it is important to select collectible samples with high adaptive properties. The purpose of our research was to identify the most promising numbers of the winter wheat collection, taking into account their adaptability. The coefficient of variation (V), genetic flexibility (Ymin + Ymax / 2), stability factor (SF), homeostaticity (Hom), and breeding value (Sc) were calculated. To do this, we used yield data from eleven highly productive winter wheat collection samples studied in the laboratory of winter crop breeding at the Omsk Agrarian Scientific Center (ASC) in 2022-2024. The most productive samples in the experiments were Synthetic (431 g/m2) and Lasurna (421 g/m2), which significantly exceeded the Omskaya 4 standard (319 g/m2). The average level of yield variability was observed only in Lasurna (V = 16.8%) and Ariadna (V = 18.5%) samples. The remaining numbers were characterized by significant variability (V > 20%). The samples Kyivs'ka ostista (444), Chugyrinka (436) and Lasurna (434) were distinguished by their genetic flexibility. Gestiya (SF = 1.38), Ariadna (SF = 1.44) and Koroganka (SF = 1.47) had relative stability in comparison with other numbers in the collection. Ariadna (Hom = 13.86) was the best in terms of homeostaticity, while Ariadna (Sc = 272), Roksolana (Sc = 252) and Kyivs'ka ostista (Sc = 235) were the best in terms of breeding value. The ranking of the collection samples in accordance with the values of their yield adaptability parameters and the subsequent calculation of the average rank showed that the Ariadna (Belgorod) sample compares favorably with all other samples. Its average rank is 2.5, with a range of average rank values for the remaining numbers ranging from 4.7 to 8.8. The Ariadna (Belgorod) sample is recommended as the initial form for creating winter wheat varieties in the Omsk region.
