The adaptive method of text zones detection in a videostream based on brightness maps

The questions of text zones detection in a videostream are considered. The example of processing based on edge detection and spectral characteristics of the image are presented. The opportunity of application of various spatial filters is analyzed. Algorithms of masks formation are presented.
