In 2013-2016, in the southern forest-steppe of Western Siberia on the experimental field of the Seed Production Department of the FSBSI “Omsk Agrarian Scientific Center” (FSBSI “Omsk ASC”), 14 varieties of durum spring wheat bred in Siberia were tested, 6 of them were bred at the FSBSI “Omsk ASC”: Zhemchuzhina Sibiri (St.), Omskiy izumrud, Omskiy korund, Omskiy tsirkon, Omskaya stepnaya and Omskaya yantarnaya, while 8 were bread at the FSBSI “Federal Agrarian Scientific Center of Altai” (FSBSI “FASCA”): Aleyskaya, Altayskiy yantar’, Pamyati Yanchenko, Salyut Altaya, Solnechnaya 573, Gordeiforme 627, Gordeiforme 628 and Gordeiforme 677. The article assesses the adaptive potential of durum wheat varieties (ecological plasticity and stability) in terms of grain yield depending on the forecrop and the conditions of the year. The predominant influence on the yield variability was established in terms of year conditions (29.7%), genotype (18.4%) and their interaction (20.5%), for a total of 68...
