The first stages of biofilms formation by bacteria S. epidermidis 33 on the polystyrene surface were studied. The dependence of biomass accumulation of bacterial films on the physicochemical environmental factors - the temperature, acidity, hydrodynamic conditions, as well as on the physiological state of adsorbed bacteria was discovered.
