Administrative activities of the Pamir border guard detachment in the late 19th - early 20th century: regulatory framework

The article presents the normative-legal acts that determined the principles of the administrative activities of Pamir border guard detachment in the late 19th - early 20th century. The author shows that their content was wide and varied including in addition to official functions, rights for relations with neighboring countries, as well as the responsibilities of the so-called head of the local population - chief administrator for the Pamir Kyrgyz of the entire region.
