The absorption and adsorption capacity of the sorption materials containing aluminum oxyhydroxides immobilized on the polymer microfibers was investigated. The study showed effective adsorption of different types of microorganisms (E.coli, St.aureus, and P.aeruginosa) on the samples of sorption materials. Data suggested that the absorption and adsorption capacity of the samples depended on the volumetric density of aluminum oxyhydroxide and content of material in the polymer matrix. Microorganism fixation at the surface of sorption material was caused by adsorption and physicochemical adhesion of microorganisms to the aluminum oxyhydroxide particles.
