Lawyer as a subject of information counteraction to crime

Introduction: the author covers challenges in the professional activities of a lawyer in implementing the function of the subject of information counteraction to crime. Within information society and rapid development of information technology the role of a lawyer as non-specialised actor countering crime is constantly growing, and their professional activities contain the considerable potential of information-based responses to crime. The author considers various aspects of procedural and non-procedural activities of a lawyer, which allow carrying out information counteraction to crime at the general social, special-criminological and individual levels.
