The policy of the United States of America in the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan (IRA) has undergone conceptual changes in recent years under the influence of primarily subjective factors. Among such factors are the different approaches of the US presidents and their teams to the emerging military-political situation in Afghanistan. The article examines the US strategies in Afghanistan put forward by D. Trump and D. Biden, analyzes changes in the contents, goals and influence of US Afghan policy.
