The development of a unified recreational concept in the Krasnodar agglomeration will significantly in-crease tourist attractiveness and improve the economic performance of both Krasnodar and neighboring municipalities. It has been established that the following types of recreation require promotion and development in the city of Krasnodar: cultural and historical tourism, which involves immersing visitors in the culture of the Kuban Cossacks; ga-stronomic tourism; event and sports tourism, which has enormous potential and is not limited to Krasnodar alone. The study also provided a detailed analysis of the tourism potential of Krasnodar's suburbs. Significant natural sites were examined, and a list of protected natural areas, forest parks, and recreational zones was compiled. A number of proposals have been presented, the main goals of which are to reveal the bioclimatic recreational po-tential of the studied territory, to create a sustainable urban ecological framework, and, as a result, to create more favor-able living conditions for the residents of Krasnodar. In order to increase the tourist attractiveness of the studied territo-ry, it is recommended to develop and promote various types of recreation, taking into account the season. The development of the tourism industry within the framework of the agglomeration model will have a positive impact on the economy of not only the city of Krasnodar, but also the surrounding municipalities. If a comprehensive tourism development system is implemented in modern urban planning practices, taking into account the advantages of each agglomeration entity, large cities and their suburbs will be able to improve their economies, become more attrac-tive for investment, and, most importantly, significantly enhance the quality of life for their residents by creating new recreational areas.
