Agonality and tolerance in modern communication

The article examines the essence of agonality, the point of view of various authors on the classification of discourses, identifies the problem of mixing agonality and tolerance in the communication of modern society. The factors acting as the causes and prerequisites for the occurrence of each of the phenomena in Russia are presented. The problem of the serious influence of the Internet on the mood of an individual and society as a whole is touched upon. Conclusions are drawn about the possible reasons for the particular popularity of the considered phenomena in the modern world.
