Agrarian reform P.A. Stolypin: ideas and their implementation

The agrarian question has played a big role in people's lives throughout our history. Land has always been important to the Russian people, as the landscape itself contributed to economic activity, namely agriculture. Stolypin agrarian reform at the beginning of the XX century is part of a social, political and economic program aimed at transformation. The article reveals the essence of P.A. Stolypin's agrarian reform. The reasons, directions, positive and negative sides, the importance of agrarian transformations aimed at strengthening the political system of Russia on the basis of the economic development of the peasant economy, the creation of a layer of wealthy peasants are considered.
