The article presents the results of changes in the density of addition, water regime of ordinary chernozem depending on soil cultivation. It is shown that the methods of basic tillage for barley did not significantly affect the density of addition and were within the optimal limits for the cultivation of this crop, changing during the growing season in the direction of increase from seedlings to the earing phase. The use of minimal processing and technology No Till (zero) for barley to a large extent (1.26 and 1.90 for processing without fertilizers and 1.21 and 2.01 times against fertilizers) reduced the level of yield in relation to the dump soil treatment (1.65 t / ha without fertilizers and 3.20 t / ha with fertilizers on control).
