Use of medicinal plants for trace elements can improve the resistance of plants to abiotic and biotic factors that activates the biochemical and physiological processes, improves productivity and quality of medicinal raw materials. The paper studied the effect of zinc and copper on the yield and quality of medicinal plant yarrow. The field experiment was laid out in 2012 in the experimental field of the Omsk State Agrarian University on meadow chernozem malogumusovoy low-power heavy-soil. The experiment was added calculation doses of zinc (from 20 to 80 kg/ha) and copper (2.4 to 9.7 kg/ha). Trace elements were added over the background N135P45K45. As used microelements zinc acetate ((CH3COO)2Zn - 29,7%), copper acetate ((CH3COO)2Cu - 32%). It was established that in 2012-2014, when making copper yield increase yarrow have been more significant than in making zinc, and amounted to 1.93 (6.91%) when making up to 0.25 MPC Cu 4.58 (16.40%) in the MPC 0.75 Cu. Yield increase yarrow in making zinc varied from 2.27 (8.13%) on a variant 0.25 Zn to 3.87 (13.9%) in the 0.5 version of the MPC Zn. During the three years of the aftereffects of trace elements and a positive effect on the biosynthesis of absolutely dry matter yarrow have 0.5 MPC Zn and 0.75 Cu. In these cases, it has the highest yield of 31.8 and 32.5 t/ha, respectively. Every single application kilogram zinc and copper fertilizer increases productivity yarrow 0.04 and 0.39 t/ha, respectively (r = 0.79-0.86). As a result of our research found that the medicinal raw materials rich in vitamin C (5.39-7.27 mg%). The content of tannins in the middle of the years of study ranged from 2.41 to 3.62%, carotene ranged from an average of 6.55 to 11.68 mg%.
