The agricultural sector in the Vologda region in 2010

The article is focused on the socio-economic development of agricultural organizations in the Vologda region. On the basis of the questionnaire among the directors of the agricultural organizations the author reveals the main factors which restrain their development. They are the following: price disparity in the intersectoral interchange in the agro - industrial complex, the shortage of budgetary supporting, the underdevelopment of credit relations, the imperfection of the management and etc. The author offers the set of the practices which could improve the situation in the agricultural sector.
