Agritourism as a factor for successful positioning of a territory

The article analyses the concept of agritourism, compares the concepts of eco-tourism and rural tourism in the works of Russian and foreign researchers. The authors present an original definition of the agritourism concept based on the western approach, but at the same time taking into account the Russian specifics. The paper considers the conditions under which the agritourism can become a key factor in the success of the region. It is concluded that the lack of the methodological clearness of the conceptual framework prevents establishment of the agritourism clusters.
