Aerial photography as a tool to ensure environmental safety

The article deals with the issues related to environmental monitoring tools, in particular, aerial photography. The received data on the state of soil, air, water areas, forests, natural objects are drawn up in reports, which are used by supervisory authorities when interfering with anthropogenic activities that damage nature and people living on this territory. The scope of application of this method is described. The characteristics of aircrafts, with the help of which this type of observation is carried out, are given. Advantages and disadvantages of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) depending on the task they fulfil are presented.
