Academician of medicine M.P. Chumakov and the history of the development of a vaccine for the prevention of tick-borne encephalitis virus in the 1950s and 1960s

The article attempts to analyze the documents submitted by the application materials for inventions stored in the RGA in Samara, and scientific and practical articles in order to try to recreate the history of the development of a vaccine for the prevention of tick-borne encephalitis virus, which was carried out by the famous virologist, academician M.P. Chumakov at the turn of the 1950s and 1960s.
