The joint-stock form of industrial enterprise development of Russia in XIX century in pre-reform period (for example of the Middle Volga region)

This article analyzes the process of corporatization of the Russian economy in the XIX century in the pre-reform period in the context of the development of joint-stock forms of industrial enterprises in the provinces of Middle Volga region. The evolution of the regulatory framework equity business in the period is under review. The author reveals the dynamics of public companies, as well as general organizational principles and features of their functioning. He shows the specific activities of some, of the most large-scale, joint-stock companies of the industrial orientation.
