Axiological codes of Oleg Bogayev’s dramaturgy

The article attempts to decipher axiological codes of Oleg Bogayev’s plays. During the analysis of the frame structures of the play: its title, didascalia, and the course of dramatic action, several references have been found pertaining to literary fairy tales, folk adages, mass culture texts and Bible verses. Due to this fact we conclude that, despite their seemingly farcical and absurd nature, the dramatic works under analysis contain philosophical reflections on the modern Russian man.
