Active coordinate-sensitive potodetector

We discuss the active silicon coordinate-sensitive photodetectors based on longitudinal photoelectric effect. A method to increase photo-emf in this type of photodetectors is proposed. In the considered coordinate-sensitive photodetectors an increase of combined photo-emf in comparison with the longitudinal one is observed. The studied photodetectors are characterized by the linear dependence of output signal on light beam coordinate.
