Active tourism and its development on the territory of the Russian Federation

In his article, the author reveals the content of one of the most interesting types of cognitive and physical activity of a person - tourism. The author concludes that tourism is a special type of activity, which, first of all, is an active motor initiative of a person associated with staying in conditions different from everyday ones, often associated with a special risk to life and health, requiring a special level of physical fitness and specific practical skills, thanks to which the risks of harming health and preserving the life of a tourist are minimized. Active types of tourism are becoming more and more popular among the population of our country and the population of the world as a whole. There is a modernization of both existing venues for active tourism and the development of new natural complexes.
