Ethnic elements of French axiological world map and their actualization in the humorous discourse

The objective of this article is to disclose ethnic specificity of French axiological world map through the humorous discourse by examining the elements of the axiological paradigm which was determined with linguistic experiments. Analyzing anecdotes about «O1d peop1e»/«Les personnes agées» the author concludes that this theme is relevant for the French linguistic culture but not the for Russian one.
