Updating the image of the state in the media course (examples of English-language media)

By the material of the English-language media the article discusses the means of creating the image of state in media discourse. The paper analyses such lexical-stylistic means as metaphor, comparison, epithet, allusion, antithesis, and such syntactic-stylistic means as enumeration, detachment, rhetorical questions, that allow you to create the image of a country with a certain evaluation.
