Actualization of the behavioral potential of volunteering of college students in the aspect of active volunteering

The article examines the stages of the formation of the volunteer movement on the basis of the organization of secondary vocational education. The role of volunteerism is emphasized as a significant potential for solving problems of upbringing students, the formation of social and communicative competencies. The definition of the concepts “volunteering” and “volunteer movement” is given. The characteristic features of the volunteers of the Ashinskiy industrial college, the main forms of student participation in volunteering, and types of volunteering are highlighted and described. The role of volunteering in the formation of the value field of students, social self-determination and the formation of character is shown. The article defines the nature of the social activity of the youth of the college, names the main actions that contribute to the actualization of the behavioral potential of volunteering of the population of the Asha monotown and the region. The participation and assistance of volunteers of the college in the implementation of educational projects with the performance of the functions of mentors, the implementation of the main stages of mentoring is considered. A review of scientific literature on the problem of practice-oriented education of students is carried out.
