The ideas laid down by St. John in the foundation of the institutes of mercy and charity are now expressed in the form of various social organizations that successfully support and implement new projects of the “John’s family”. The development of this movement began in the mid‑1990s and was officially registered as an organization in the early 2000s. To date, various charity projects are successfully operating and developing, and experience is being exchanged. A characteristic feature of this movement is its commitment to the ideas laid down by the righteous St. John of Kronstadt and its desire to develop his legacy. Based on the events held, it can be concluded that great importance is attached to preserving the memory of the saint. The “John’s family” Foundation supports those in need by providing them with free meals and housing. Free medical facilities are also being created, including for the treatment of drug addicts. Assistance is provided in organizing various children’s camps, contests, festive concerts and general meetings of all members and guests of the “John’s family”.
