The relevance of Erich Fromm’s ideas for the spiritual and moral development of modern Russian youth

This article examines the direction of spiritual and moral education of modern Russian youth, based on the existential ideas of philosopher and sociologist Erich Fromm. The author tried to prove the relevance of his ideas for the education of modern Russian youth by comparing Fromm's philosophy and modern value orientations identified in current research. The conclusions formulated as a result of the work made it possible to better understand the moral character of the younger generation and predict new milestones in education activities.
