The relevance of obtaining new varieties of winter triticale adapted to the conditions of a particular region

This article describes the process of selection in General, and how important this process is to obtain new varieties adapted to the conditions of a particular region. It is indicated which features should be paid special attention to when selecting breeding material, and which varieties are recommended to be involved in crossing. The main tasks that were set when creating a new variety of winter triticale are highlighted. The tab of experience and methods by means of which researches were carried out is described. The final result of the breeding process and the description of the new variety are shown.
