Current directions of state regulation of foreign trade activity

The presented article reveals the content of foreign trade activity, alternative approaches to its implementation, and principles of state regulation in the context of the new economic reality. Special attention is paid to defining the features, place and role of small and medium-sized businesses in the development of foreign trade activities in the economy of the Russian Federation. At the same time, it is noted that appropriate conditions must be created and state support must be provided.
