Current problems in the implementation of social protection measures for low-income citizens in the region

The paper studied the social protection system of poor citizens in the Ulyanovsk region, where the proportion of the poor remains high (11.7%). This figure is 4% higher than in the Russian Federation as a whole. In the course of the work, the main problems were identified and recommendations were formulated to improve social protection measures for poor citizens and the needy population of the Ulyanovsk region.
