Actual problems of small business development in the regions of the center of Russia

The aim of the work is to determine the actual problems of small business development, based on the analysis of indicators of small business development in certain regions of the center of Russia and various studies in the field of state regulation of entrepreneurial activity. In the course of the work the authors used: General scientific methods: comparison and analogy, analysis and synthesis. The study identified the main problems of small business, which include: high uncertainty caused by state policy, insufficient development in some regions of large capital, providing orders for small businesses, the lack of certain regional coordinating centers, providing small businesses with information about potentially self-developing economic activities in the region, state support, not taking into account the financial capabilities of small business in some regions of the center of Russia. The results obtained can be used by public authorities, both at the Federal and regional levels, to detail the main measures of state support for small business in specific regions, as well as by specialists studying this problem.
