Actual problems of development of small towns of Russia (on the example of Leninogorsk of the Republic of Tatarstan)

Small towns are the demographic, economic, cultural and intellectual potential of society. The article is devoted to a comprehensive study of the problems of development of small and medium-sized towns of Russia. The authors give a generalized description of the town of Leninogorsk, social and economic problems, the development of the cultural sphere of the town. Special attention is paid to population demography and migration. It is shown that the sustainable development of the town of Leninogorsk is determined by its industrial potential and the state of the social sphere.
