In modern conditions of import substitution, shortage of skilled labor, technological challenges and geopolitical tensions, the robotization of industrial production is becoming particularly relevant for the Russian Federation. However, depending on the industry affiliation of enterprises, the degree of relevance of this problem varies, since there are industries where robotization of production is still less in demand. Extrapolation of the historical experience of the USSR in the field of robotics shows that it is necessary to substantiate the economic feasibility of robotics and study its impact on the efficiency of the enterprise. The purpose of the article is to analyze the current problems of robotization in various sectors of the economy of the Russian Federation. The reliability and validity of the obtained research results is ensured by the analysis of statistical data, a comparative analysis of Russian and foreign experience in the robotization of industry. As a result of the conducted research, key trends and patterns of robotization of the Russian manufacturing industry have been established. It has been established that the potential of robotics in industries is not being fully used.
