Urgent problems of rural social infrastructure of the Nizhniy Novgorod region

Social infrastructure is one of the most significant indicators of living standards of rural population, the research of which is becoming ever more urgent under the conditions of total urbanization. Depopulation of countryside, differences of population density and employment in agricultural sector, accompanied with economic and social degradation, the authors consider to be the major factors of differentiation of Russian agriculture industry.
