The article presents an overview of the XV international scientific seminar «Current Issues of Cooperation between Russia, China and Mongolia in the Modern world: History, Economics, Culture, Ecology» as of the successful examples of close academic cooperation between scientific and educational institutions of Russia, Mongolia and China. The main topics and sections of the seminar allowed scientists from the three countries to focus their attention on a wide range of issues in the field of historical interaction, current state and future development of economic, social, and cultural ties in the cross-border region of Russia, Mongolia and China.
