Real events as the plot trigger in old believers' religious poems

This paper is written in the framework of the newslore researches / contemporary folklore. The role of real historical facts in origin of plots of the late religious poems from the Old Believers' repertoire is estimated. Basing upon the analysis of repertoire the author identifies the specific Old Believers' literary monuments that became the research foundation. The author considers the plots connected with the events of Church dissent, the ones reflecting dogmatic features of Old Believers consent, representing the difference of Old Believers and New Believers, interpreting satirically the home taboos. Basing upon the reviewed texts the author comes to the conclusion, that those events became the plot triggers, which were related to the religious worldview of Old Believers.
