Current trends in the development of physical culture and sports in the Samara city: socio-economic aspects

The article discusses the socio-economic aspects of current trends in the development of physical culture and sports in the Samara region. Trends in the popularization of sports and physical education have been identified. Quantitative indicators of the development of physical culture and sports were analyzed, as a result of which a trend of positive development of the region in this area was determined. Measures to popularize physical culture and sports in the Samara region, taking into account socio-economic aspects, were proposed.
