Topical issues of identification of personality by photo and video recordings of a face hidden under a medical mask

In modern realities, issues of portrait analysis in the context of wearing medical masks remain relevant. The article examines the algorithm of forensic research using the example of specific crimes to illustrate the importance of portrait analysis for identifying suspects from video surveillance footage. The study concludes that new technologies, specialized software, and new approaches to traditional methods of facial recognition through photos and videos can provide law enforcement with a new tool to combat crime. This tool will allow for more identification that is effective even when a suspect is wearing a mask.
