Pressing issues of prevention of crimes committed by people with disorders of sexual preference (pedophilia) by means of the internet

The relevance of the topic is caused by the growth of criminal acts committed by pedophiles, including by means of the Internet. The article substantiates the need to develop a unified database of pedophiles who have committed crimes, including the DNA base, which will facilitate the investigation of crimes, because pedophiles are more likely to engage in recidivism. The authors believe that together with the creation of the database, it is necessary to identify and control (register) those persons who constantly searching the porn sites with the participation of children and to strengthen preventive supervision, and if necessary - to use international experience of application of compulsory medical measures.
