Topical issues in the development of sports tourism in Russia as a new direction of the market of tourist services

The article focuses on the current state and development potential of sports tourism in the Russian Federation, analyzes the measures to support this direction at the national level. It contains the analysis of international experience in the development of sports tourism and proposals for its implementation in Russia. It also examines the participation of private business in the development of this direction.
