Topical issues of preservation of archaeological ceramics

The article discusses the problems associated with the preservation of cultural heritage objects - archaeological ceramics, of means restoration, One of the factors for the success of the restoration is the assessment of the preservation of the object. For this, it is proposed to use a methodological approach, which is based on materials science analysis, which allows identifying and objectively assessing the main characteristics of the object of restoration.
