Acoustical investigation of viscoelastic properties of polymer liquid PES-2

Investigation is devoted of real shear modulus and effective viscosity of polymer liquid PES-2 in dependence on angle of shear deformation. The experiment was carried out by acoustical resonance method using piezoquartz resonator at temperature of 20оC, 40оC и 60оC. It is determined that the real shear modulus and effective viscosity calculated using Maxwell rheological model are strongly depend on shear deformation angle. At small angles the linear elasticity region are observed where shear tension is proportional to shear deformation value. Shear critical angle of PES-2 is jk " 8.4¢.
